When it comes to customization first thing we do is change desktop wallpaper. If you have changed desktop wallpaper with your custom image before you may have noticed that its quality changes when you use it as a desktop wallpaper. This happens because when you set an image to your desktop wallpaper windows will automatically compress it to reduce image size so that it takes less space in memory. This feature was first introduced in Windows Vista. So go ahead if you want to control what happens to your image.
How to Increase Wallpaper Quality
There is actually two ways to do this, both use registry editor.The first is super fast all you need is couple of clicks and you are done. then there is the slow method where you need to manually change the registry settings which may take some time.
First Method:
- Download this registry file first.
- Open it by double clicking it.
- Windows will prompt you to allow registry file to modify settings click on YES
If you want to go back to the previous settings. Well mate there is no way to do that.

I am just kidding, there is always a way buddy.
- First download this registry file.
Second Method:
