How to Install WhatsApp Web Client on linux

Hello Guys, today I am here to tell you how to install WhatsApp Web client on linux. If you want a straight forward way to use whatsApp without having to go to browser and then WhatsApp web website, all you need to do is follow this post. It's extremely simple. After installing the application, just double click to open and bammm, you are on.

Install WhatsApp on linux

Before you begin make sure you have Google Chrome installed on you Linux.
  • First you need to download a DEB installation file, click here to download.
  • Now open terminal and navigate to folder where you have downloaded whatsApp DEB file.
  • Use the following command to install the DEB file on you linux:
dpkg -i whatsapp-webapp_1.0_all.deb
  • Open whatsapp from your application menu.
  • Scan the QR code from phone using WhatsApp application.
And that's it, now you can use whatsApp directly without having to go to browser.
