How To Activate Youtube's hidden Dark theme

Hey guys, I know its been a while since my last post here, Sorry for that. But here I am today with a brand new YouTube trick. There is a hidden Dark Mode in YouTube and you can access it right now, and it is so cool. So next time you watch late night YouTube then turn this mode on for the sake of 
your eyes. This trick is discovered by reddit.


How to enable YouTube's Dark mode

  • First open YouTube
  • Then right click somewhere in the browser and click on Inspect or press Ctrl + Shift + I on windows or Option + Shift + I on mac
  • Then select the console tab
  • Paste the following text: document.cookie="VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=fPQ4jCL6EiE" and hit enter


  • Close the developer window and refresh the page
  • On the top right click on your account image, There you will see dark mode toggle. Turn it on and boom YouTube is in dark mode.
